Sanja Crnjanski is an artist. She was born in 1980 in Belgrade, Serbia. Since an early age she was attracted to visual arts and enrolls Faculty of Architecture at the University of Belgrade in 1999. After her second year of architectural studies in 2002 she enrolls Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Belgrade. The first two years she ends at the Professor Jasmina Kalic’s Class. On the second year she already stands out as one of the most prominent students and gets the student prize for the best drawing. At the later years of her studies she chooses the Professor Darija Kacic’s class with principles of classical drawing model studies and with an interest for overall present surroundings of life and still life. There she opens up a field of personal poetic exploration where she still stands. As an excellent student she gets the “Beta Vukovic” Award for drawing in 2006. She graduates in 2008 and since 2009 she is a member of ULUS.

After the studies, Sanja presents her work in numerous group exhibitions and independently exhibits in September 2012 in the Gallery Kolarac in Belgrade drawings, paintings and watercolors. In 2013 Sanja receives Kolarac Gallery Award for the best show at the exhibiting season of 2012-2013 year.

Her works can be found in numerous private collections in various countries.

She works in Belgrade where she lives with her family.
